Restored 1970 Triumph Bonneville Motorcycle.
This Triumph T120 underwent a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
The engine was disassembled, the cases degreased and glass bead blasted.
The oilways were cleaned, the sludge trap was cleaned and new bearings were installed.
New Hepolite 9:1 pistons and new rings were fitted.
The cylinder head was glass bead blasted and rebuilt to factory specs including new valves, new valve guides and new springs.
New correct Amal 930/300 and 930/301 carbs were fitted with new old stock fuel lines.
New reproduction exhaust mufflers were fitted.
The kickstart lever and gearchange lever were re-chromed.
The gearbox was rebuilt.
The thrust washers and springs were replaced.
A new clutch basket was installed.
New shock absorbers with the correct exposed chrome springs were used.
The swing arm was rebuilt, lubed and fitted with new o-rings.
The Dunlop wheels were re-chromed.
The front wheel was built up with cad plated spokes.
The rear wheel was built up with stainless spokes.
A new seat was fitted.
The brakes were rebuilt with new shoes, a new cable, re-plated adjusters and a re-plated rear brake lever.
The correct Smiths magnetic instruments were professionally rebuilt.
A new cloth wiring harness was used.
A new headlamp was fitted with a new Lucas lens.
A new after-market ammeter, headlamp switch and Lucas style tail lamp assembly was installed.
The fuel tank was professionally re-painted.
All of the black parts were powdercoated.
All of the rubber parts were replaced.
