Purchased as a rolling chassis with the engine in bits due to centre big end failing in 2003, the owner spent many years collecting parts and sending parts to specialists (crankshaft exhausts tank etc) before starting  putting it together in 2011.

Completed it in 2012 and put it on the road it runs and rides perfectly.

At least 98% of the parts used in the restoration were genuine Suzuki.

Starting with the engine, the parts listed below were new.
Most of the parts came from Suzuki Dave and some from Paul Miller in America.

Cylinder head bolts, Generator cover, Inner sprocket cover, Outer sprocket cover, Starter gear, Clutch cover, Clutch adjusting cover, Points cover, SRIS pipes and clips, Crankshaft oil seals, Crankshaft main bearings, Big ends and pins, Little ends, pins and circlips, 1mm oversize Pistons and Rings, Complete water pump, Water pump impeller, Water pump drive gear, Clutch plates, Gear shifting switch and Complete points plate.

Carbs were Ultra Sonic cleaned all screws-bolts-springs-brackets etc were re-plated each carb had a full rebuild kit fitted,

Intake rubbers, Carb rubbers, Airbox chrome covers, Exhaust baffles, Plastic radiator cover(has a very tiny chip in the paint), Chain and Sprockets, Voltage regulator,  Coils, Indicator relay, Battery, Brake pipes(genuine), Speedo, Tacho, Temp gauge, Gear indicator, Wiring looms front and back, Headlight brackets, Indicators, Complete rear lamp, Side stand, Centre stand, Correct tank badges, Front forks complete, Front wheel rim and spokes, Rear wheel and spokes, Front and rear tyres, Handlebars, Left handlebar switch gear, Right handlebar switch gear and throttle, Master cylinder, Fuel tap,  Chain guard, Gear lever, all Cables, rubber shock absorbers, Rear fender plastic and Chrome rear grab rail, Front fender, Seat. Mirrors are the Suzuki S copies,

Every bearing-oil- seal-o ring has been replaced.

All rubbers-grommet-cushion etc` have been replaced.

All hoses-water, oil, fuel replaced.

Every engine cover and fork bottoms replaced with nos ones so give the proper look and not the over polished look.

All black bits are powder coated.

All bolts have been re plated or re chromed where possible and new ones used where the originals could not be used.

Some other parts have been re chromed. (radiator-kick start-headlamp-rear light bracket)

The Exhausts are very solid no rot and have been re chromed with a couple of very minor imperfections by quality chrome

Tank has been proffessionly re sprayed.
