Restored 1970 Honda CT70 Motorcycle.
This whole bike was stripped down to individual parts by its owner.
The frame, forks, swing arm, rear shock top cover tubes and chain guard were sandblasted and powder coated candy Sapphire Blue just like the original Honda colour.
Many new parts were used including:
The brake light switch,
Skid plate and spark plug guard,
Honda key switch,
Wire harness grommet,
Honda Trail 70 frame decals,
Side emblems(correct for the “K0” model),
Complete tail light,
Rubber battery cover,
The original air cleaner housing was powder coated gloss black.
The original gas tank mount was powder coated gloss black.
The foot-peg and kick stand assembly was powder coated gloss black.
The rear shocks were disassembled, polished and the springs were re-chromed.
The original fork legs were re-chromed with new sliders and seals.
The rims and wheel hubs were sandblasted and powder coated with near perfect match to the original Honda Cloud Silver paint.
The engine was completely disassembled.
The intake and exhaust valves were replaced.
The head was glass beaded.
The cylinder was bored to .50 and a new piston was installed.
A new cam chain and rollers was fitted.
The clutch was replaced.
A new oil pump was fitted.
The front and rear fenders, exhaust guards, fork bolts, head light bucket bolts, air cleaner end caps, rear tail light bracket, shifter lever and kick start lever were all re-chromed.
The brake hubs, rear shocks, front fork caps, fork crown triple tree, valve covers, cam cover and points cover were polished.
