Restored 1975 Kawasaki H2C Motorcycle.
This Kawasaki was fully restored by its owner.
The frame, swinging arm , centre and side stands, yokes, headlamp bowl, battery box, seat brackets, instrument pod, exhaust brackets and other black parts were blasted and powder coated.
The bodywork was professionally painted.
The seat was re-covered
The original Tagasako wheel rims were re-chromed.
The hubs were cleaned and re-laced with new spokes.
Many new parts were used including:
Steering head bearings,
Fork seals/dust covers,
Indicators and stems,
Front disc pads,
Brake lines and hoses,
Front brake master cylinder,
Chain and sprockets,
Fuel tank cap,
Fuel tap seals,
Exhaust connector seals,
Clutch & brake levers,
The speedo and tacho were refaced.
The wheel spindles, spacers, rods, torque arm, nuts, bolts and washers were re-plated or replaced.
The following items were re-chromed:
Headlamp ears and bottom yoke covers,
Front mudguard and brace,
Gear change lever,
Pivot and linkage,
Rear brake lever and brake hub lever,
Top and bottom yoke yoke nuts and bolts,
Brake hose bracket,
Rear footrest bars,
The exhaust silencers, down pipes, connectors and stop rings were all re-chromed.
The carburettors and the fuel tap were ultrasonically cleaned.
The engine crankcases, barrels and heads were bead blasted.
The engine outer cases and the fork sliders were lightly polished.
The engine was rebuilt with new seals.
The barrels were bored and fitted with new pistons and rings.
A cracking restored Kawasaki H2C.
