Restored 1978 Yamaha SR500 Motorcycle.
This Motorcycle was fully restored over a period of 5 years by its owner.
The frame was powder coated gloss black and every bush, seal and bearing was replaced.
All of the items that attach to the frame were also powder coated gloss black.
The engine and gearbox were completely stripped down and professionally rebuilt.
The crankshaft, piston, con rod, selector shafts and some gear sprockets were all replaced.
The bodywork was professionally painted.
The wheels were overhauled with new stainless steel spokes and rims.
The rear brake drum was skimmed during the wheel overhaul and new shoes were fitted.
The front brake caliper was powder coated and overhauled with a new piston and seals.
The carburettor was rebuilt new jets and accelerator pump diaphragms.
The chain guard, rear brake pedal and kick start were re-chromed.
