Restored 1968 BSA Spitfire Motorcycle.
This great BSA was restored by its owner in the USA,
The engine was stripped to the last bolt and rebuilt using OEM parts wherever possible.
The crankshaft sludge trap removed and replaced.
The main bearings were replaced.
The cylinder was overbored and fitted with new pistons and rings.
The cylinder head was rebuilt with new stainless steel valves and new guides were fitted.
All of the transmission bearings were replaced.
A new clutch was installed.
The carburettors were rebuilt.
The gauges were restored.
The wheels were disassembled to bare hubs, new bearings and seals were installed and the original rims were laced with new stainless steel spokes.
The front suspension was rebuilt using new bushings.
The seat pan was restored and the seat was rebuilt using an authentic cover.
All of the chassis parts were powder coated.
Boyer ignition was fitted for easy starting and reliability.
A very nice restored British BSA.
