Fully restored 1979 GT250 X7,
Simply stunning bike that has had a lot of time + money lavished on it,
Heres a brief description of the works,
Frame + brackets all powder coated,
Engine fully rebuilt.
Wheels refurbed + fitted with brand new Bridgestone battleaxe tyres + new tubes,
New (genuine) front mudguard,
New (genuine) chainguard,
New (genuine) cables,
All original nuts + bolts have been re nickel plated, so its Not all blingy stainless,
Forks have been refurbed with rechromed stantions fitted,
Plastics all pro resprayed,
New (genuine) engine casing logos,
Clocks have all been fully refurbed,
New Chain + Sprockets,
The Tank still has its original paint which is almost perfect apart from a very small dint on the top right.
When released by Suzuki in 1979 the GT250X7 was the first production 250 that had a claimed top speed of 100mph, pretty scary when you could buy one in the UK at the age of 17 and with no training or experience fix on some L plates and ride away!
