Restored 1980 Kawasaki Z1000 LTD Motorcycle.
This bike was beautifully restored.
Nearly every piece on this Kawasaki was rebuilt or replaced.
The frame was powder coated along with every other piece that was black including the battery box, foot pegs, triple trees and kick stand.
Tapered steering head bearings replaced the original ball bearings.
All of the pieces of the body were stripped bare and professionally re-sprayed.
The motor had a complete top end rebuild.
The cylinder head was fitted with new exhaust guides, springs and seals.
New rings were installed on the original 1000 pistons and the bores were lightly honed.
The engine was rebuilt with all new gaskets and seals.
New parts fitted include:
Intake boots,
Airbox boots,
Cables,
Battery,
Blinker lenses,
Chrome gauge covers,
Headlight ring,
Grips,
Seat.
Most of the chrome was re-plated including both fenders.
The engine covers and fork legs were polished.
The forks were rebuilt with new seals and fresh oil.
The gauges were professionally rebuilt.
New steel braided brake lines with black covering were used front and rear.
The brake calipers were rebuilt with new seals.
