Restored 1972 Yamaha TD3 Motorcycle.
This Yamaha racing bike was restored from the ground up.
All of the cycle parts were refurbished or renewed as needed.
The frame was powder coated.
A pair of new custom built works performance shocks were installed.
The original Yamaha wheel rims were rebuilt with new stainless steel spokes.
The original TD-3 forks were fully rebuilt.
The headrace bearings were replaced.
A new steering damper was fitted.
All of the rubber parts and cables were replaced.
The brakes were fully rebuilt.
The engine was completely rebuilt with a fresh crank and rods.
The gearbox was refurbished.
The bike sports the original aluminium gas tank which was restored inside and out.
A brand new Airtech fairing and seat unit was fitted.
The tank and fairing were painted in the traditional white with appropriate striping.
NOS parts were used throughout the exhaustive restoration of this true icon of racing technology from the 1960s and 1970s.
