Restored 1954 Jawa Perak (Type 11) Motorcycle.
This Jawa was restored by its owner.
A top quality paint job on the tank, fenders, frame, front end, hubs, tool box and battery box was completed.
The tank was re-plated.
New wheel rims were laced with Buchanan spokes.
The front and rear brake arms, brake shoes and wheel bearings were replaced.
The forks were rebuilt with new fork bushings.
The steering damper, friction discs, handle bars, grips and cables were all replaced.
The clutch and brake levers, headlamp glass and trim ring, fork boots and fork boot clamps were also replaced
New exhaust headers, collars and mufflers were fitted.
A new gas cap and gasket was installed.
The cylinder was honed and the existing piston was re-used as it was still in good condition.
New foot rubbers were used.
The wiring harness, tire pump, seat, seat friction dampers and seat spring were replaced.
The bike was converted to a 12 volt system with a power dynamo upgrade.
