Restored 1966 Bridgestone Hurricane Motorcycle.

This bike was restored and rebuilt by its owner in the USA.

The frame, swing arm, triple tree, engine guard, kickstand and seat pan were all bead blasted and repainted black.

The engine was disassembled and all of the gaskets were replaced.

A compression test done on both cylinders and the bores were inspected for damage to the chrome plating.

A new wiring harness and coil was fitted.

The carburettors were rebuilt with new needles and seats.

All of the replacement parts used were OEM Bridgestone.

The engine cases where cleaned and the side covers were painted to match the original silver colour from the factory.

All of the body panels were bead blasted to and primed before being painted.

All of the the chrome pieces were stripped down and re-plated to better than factory finish.

The stainless steel and aluminium on this bike was polished but not to a mirror finish to keep the original factory look.

The spokes were replaced when the new wheel rims were installed and trued.
