Restored 1985 Can-Am MX500 Motorcycle.
This Can-Am was completely restored by its owner.
The engine was disassembled rebuilt with all new seals and bearings.
The cylinder and head were vapour blasted.
The frame and sub frame were media blasted, inspected and powder coated the correct colour.
Most of the bolts and nuts on the bike were replaced with titanium items.
The pegs were also striped and powder coated and new peg pins and springs were installed.
A new seat cover was fitted.
Brand new wheel rims were laced with new spokes to the media blasted and refinished hubs.
The rear shock was rebuilt with new seals and the spring was powder coated.
The forks were serviced with new seals, oil and fork boots.
The fork bottoms were media blasted and powder coated the correct colour.
The tank was professionally prepared and painted.
All of the plastic bodywork was replaced with new.
New factory correct decals were used on the tank, scoops, swing arm and number plates.
