Restored 1966 Honda CB450 Red Dragon Motorcycle.

This rare motorcycle was fully restored by its owner in the USA.

The engine was split and completely cleaned.

The top end was rebuilt with new cam rollers and a new cam chain.

The cylinders were honed and new rings were installed.

The valves were lapped and fitted with new valve stem seals.

The aluminium engine cases and cam covers were polished to a chrome like finish.

The body of the engine was painted with high-temp aluminium engine paint.

The frame was sprayed in the original Red paint.

The fenders, side covers and fork tubes were painted cloud silver.

The wire harness, rectifier, starter solenoid and speedometer were completely refurbished.

Both of the original DID wheel rims were re-chromed and new spokes added.

The front and rear aluminium hubs were polished and installed with brand new brake shoes.

The carburettors were ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt.

The gas tank side panels were re-chromed.

The original handlebar switches were polished.

The centre stand assist grab bar and the gear shift lever were re-chromed.

The original starter motor was rebuilt.

The seat was reupholstered.
