Restored 1971 BMW R75/5 Motorcycle.
This BMW was restored by its owner in the USA.
All of the metal parts were stripped and refinished in a lacquer finish and hand rubbed.
The pin striping was professionally applied.
The motor was taken apart to the crankshaft for a thorough inspection.
A new rear main seal and oil pump o-ring were installed.
All new gaskets and seals were used for the final assembly.
The clutch assembly was thoroughly inspected.
The carburettor bodies were sent to Bing for a thorough cleaning.
New float valve seats, throttle shafts and blades were installed.
Both front and rear wheels were rebuilt with new spokes, bearings and seals.
The bike was fitted with a new wiring harness and both handlebar switches.
The front and rear suspension was thoroughly inspected.
