Restored 1977 Suzuki GT550 Motorcycle.

This beautiful GT550 was restored by its owner.

The bike was dismantled down to the last nut and bolt and completely and totally rebuilt.

The engine was stripped.

The crank was rebuilt with new bearings, seals and balanced.

The engine was rebuilt by a well know Suzuki GT expert using new pistons and rings.

The bores were re-plated.

The gearbox bearings were checked and replaced as required.

The engine casings were aqua blasted and polished.

The carburettors were stripped and ultrasonically cleaned.

The engine to carb rubbers and carb to airbox rubbers were replaced.

All of the cables were replaced with new old stock items.

The speedo was rebuilt.

A new old stock tacho was sourced and fitted.

The frame was repainted.

All of the other black parts were either powder coated or painted as appropriate.

The exhausts were re-chromed and fitted with new baffles.

New indicators were fitted.

New brake linings and pads were installed.

The wheels were rebuilt with stainless steel spokes and new bearings.

The front disc was refaced.

The front caliper was rebuilt and powder coated.

The paintwork was refinished.

The fuel tank was lined and the petcock was rebuilt.

The front forks were re-chromed and rebuilt with new oil.

The seat was rebuilt and fitted with a new cover.
