A very nice restored early Yamaha FS1E DX – 1976. This was the unrestricted model with pedals, anyone of a certain age in the UK will remember this as the bike you needed when you were 16.
Looks really sharp in its classic Kenny Roberts paint scheme – recently done – inside of the tank was found to be perfect.
Frame was professionally repainted.
Recent complete engine strip and rebuild to include:
Crank overhaul and seals
Rebore
New piston kit
New kick, shift, push rod, output seals
New oil and gaskets.
Other new parts include the carb and petrol tap.
Chromework was good so it did not need to be replaced.
New genuine Yamaha handlebars.
New genuine Yamaha indicators.
Known to many as a “Fizzy” we hope this brings back happy memories!
