Restored Yamaha XT500 Motorcycle
This Motorcycle has been put through a sympathetic and meticulous restoration using all the original parts where possible.
The engine was overhauled with a new set of Yamaha standard size piston rings, seals and gaskets.
The frame was powder coated to the highest standard, with the swinging arm bushes replaced, along with a new set of tapered headstock bearings.
The forks were overhauled, new oil, seals and gaiters.
Both wheels were rebuilt with new bearings and brakes upon re-assembly.The bike was also treated to new tubes and Michelin tyres.
This 1981 USA model benefits from electronic ignition.
As you can see from the pictures this restoration has been completed to a very high standard and looks great.
