Restored 1967 Triumph Bonneville Motorcycle.
This motorcycle was completely disassembled down to every last nut and bolt.
Every part was either painted, power-coated, plated, polished, repaired or replaced.
New old stock British parts were used wherever possible.
The engine was disassembled, the cases were degreased and blasted and the sludge trap was cleaned.
New bushings, bearings, pistons, rings, valves and guides were fitted.
The clutch basket and plates, the rotor/stator and the primary chain were replaced.
All of the black parts were powdercoated.
Many of the chrome parts were re-plated including the original Dunlop rims and Lucas headlamp.
All of the hardware was cadmium plated.
All of the aluminium parts were hand polished.
The paintwork was finished in the correct aubergine and Alaskan white.
The original Smiths gauges were rebuilt.
A correct seat cover was fitted.
The electrical components were replaced or restored.
All of the rubber parts were replaced with factory-correct reproductions.
Other new parts used in the restoration included:
New Amal concentric carburettors,
New drive chain,
Cables,
Speedo drive,
Brake,
Wheel bearings and stainless spokes,
Air cleaner assemblies,
Petcocks,
Fuel line assembly.
The bike was reassembled according to factory specification.
