Restored 1945 Simplex Servi-Cycle Motorcycle.
The single cylinder, two cycle, 2HP engine was rebuilt.
New bearings, gaskets and a flywheel were used.
The crankshaft was re-manufactured.
The cylinder was bored and fitted with a new piston and rings.
The condenser, points, plugs, wires and coil were replaced.
The carburettor was rebuilt.
The wheels were rebuilt with stainless steel spokes.
A new exhaust system was fitted.
The handlebar grips were replaced.
Other new parts used include:
Pulley and fork bearings,
Light switch,
Fuel and air filter,
Tailpipe, muffler and clamps,
Throttle and choke cables,
Compression cable,
Headlight retainer ring,
Fuel lines,
Mud flaps,
Brake and clutch rods,
Clutch and wheel belts,
Bike decals,
Leather seat and cushion.
The original handlebars were retained and re-chromed.
