Restored 1972 Kawasaki H2 750 Motorcycle.
This H2 Triple was fully restored by its owner.
The chassis, swinging arm , yokes, fork shrouds, headlamp bowl, battery box and other black parts were blasted and powder coated.
The body work was painted by Racepaint UK in Derby using RB’s decals.
The correct crinkle finish was applied to the instrument pods.
The original Tagasako wheel rims were re-chromed and re-laced with new spokes.
The new parts used in this restoration include:
The seat,
Complete exhaust system,
Tyres,
Inner tubes,
Intake snorkel,
Intake trumpet,
Air filter,
Battery,
Tank strap,
Fork stanchions and seals,
Handlebars,
Rear shocks,
Indicators and stems,
Front disc pads,
Rear shoes,
Chain and sprockets,
Fuel tank cap.
The front brake master cylinder was fitted with a new piston and seal kit.
The spindles, spacers, rods, torque arm, nuts, bolts and washers were re-plated or replaced.
Many items were re-chromed including:
The headlamp rim,
Gear change lever,
Pivot and linkage,
Kick start,
Rear brake lever and brake hub lever,
Chain adjusters,
Yoke nuts and bolts,
Handlebar bolts,
Brake hose brackets.
The carburettors and the fuel tap were ultrasonically cleaned.
The engine crankcases, barrels and heads were bead blasted.
The engine outer cases and the fork sliders were lightly polished.
The crank was fitted with new end seals.
All of the engine casing and gearbox seals were replaced.
The barrels were bored and fitted with new pistons and rings.
