Restored 1935 Indian Chief Motorcycle.
This lovely Indian took over two years to restore.
The crankcases were fitted with new bearings and races, then line honed and ball burnished.
The crankshaft was fitted with new bearings and races, then honed, trued and balanced.
The cam cover was rebuilt with all new bushings.
The oil pump was completely rebuilt.
The distributor was rebuilt with all new moving parts.
A new primary chain and friction plates was fitted.
The transmission was overhauled and gears replaced as necessary.
The correct front and rear 1935 cylinders were refurbished with new liners, pistons, valves, seats and guides.
The Schebler DLX108 carb was rebuilt.
The oil lines were replaced with new items.
The frame and chassis were completely stripped, bead blasted, straightened as necessary, repaired, filled, primed and powder coated black.
New stainless steel spokes and nipples were used.
The hubs were rebuilt with new bearings.
The brakes were re-lined.
A very fine restored Indian Chief.
