Restored 1972 Yamaha DT250 Motorcycle.

This Yamaha DT2 250 enduro was restored to the original specification by its owner.

The fenders, chain guard and tail light bracket were painted in Yamaha silver.

The oil tank, fuel tank, headlight ears and headlamp bucket were sandblasted and repainted with the correct paint.

The frame was sandblasted and powder coated with gloss black.

The tool box, seat pan, air box, stand and skid plate were sandblasted and painted Yamaha black then clear coated twice for protection.

The front forks and shocks were rebuilt.

A new standard piston and piston rings was fitted.

The carburettor was stripped, cleaned and rebuilt.

The transmission gears were inspected.

All of the crankshaft and transmission bearings were replaced.

All of the nuts and bolts including the spokes were zinc plated.

The wheels hubs, engine covers, lower forks, turn signal switch, throttle housing and both levers were polished.

All of the cables were replaced.

A new high quality after market seat cover was fitted.

Brand new handlebars were installed.

Both wheel rims were re-chromed.

All of the external engine seals were replaced.
