Restored 1970 Suzuki T500 Titan. A one year only model  featuring a unique tank and tank rack.

The engine was bored .05 MM and has been leak down and compression tested.
Some restorers leak down test two strokes to determine the condition of  the base and head gaskets, carb manifold boots and most importantly the crank seals. This engine held 6 lbs of pressure for over 20 mins on each cylinder, confirming a very well sealed engine.

The carbs were completely rebuilt with new floats and have been jetted and tuned for sea level operation.

All the cases were removed and professionally polished to a slightly better than new finish with no clear coat.

The hubs were medial blasted in the center and polished on the sides just as they done at the factory.

All the cables were replaced with the correct silver style units in the correct lengths with the correct plated adjusters.

All the gauge lights work and the electrical system is fully functional, all switches and everything else works as it should.

Rear shocks are new and correct gray sleeved units for the year.

Every nut bolt and plated piece of hardware was removed and either cad or zinc plated including the carburetor hardware.

The headlight bucket fork ears and tank rack were re-plated.

The headlight lens is the original flat bottom and is clear and in excellent condition.

The frame and swing arm were repainted using acrylic enamel with a flattening agent to replicate the exact factory 85 % glossy finish.

Foot peg holders side and center stand are a slight less glossy finish exactly as they were from the factory.

The tank and side covers were painted in a three stage base coat clear coat that is far better and more durable then the OEM finish with clear coat over the correct decals.

The tank and side cover emblems are new and look exactly as they did in 1969 when the bike was produced.

The fork tubes were dis-assembled and re chromed and resealed, something few attempt to do.

The seat pan was media blasted, painted with the correct 75% gloss finish and an accurate heat formed seat coverer was fitted in the correct tight fashion.

The seat stainless trim was tapped, polished and appears new.

The grab bar was plated and is as new.

The tail light lens was replaced with a NOS unit.

All the levers and switches are as or better than new.

The handlebars are correct Suzuki NOS units that are very close the original unit with cross bars.

Just look at the pictures below, another stunning restoration.
