Restored 1977 Yamaha XT500D Motorcycle.
This Yamaha single was restored during 2015 and 2016 by its owner.
The engine was overhauled.
A new con rod and crank pin was fitted.
The little end bush and piston were replaced.
New crank case bearings were fitted as required.
A new cam chain was installed.
The frame, swinging arm and frame mounting brackets were powder coated.
All of the nuts, bolts and frame parts were re-plated or replaced with stainless steel items.
The wheels were rebuilt with powder coated hubs and stainless steel spokes.
New Hagon shocks were fitted.
The fork stanchions were re-chromed and the fork sliders were fitted with new bushes.
Tapered steering head bearings were installed.
A new seat cover and strap was fitted.
A very nice restored Yamaha XT500 Motorcycle.
