The motorcycle was disassembled and the frame epoxy coated in black.
The petrol tank and fenders were finished in a fine metallic black base coat-clear coat system with the pin-striping and decals under the clear coat.
The engine was opened & inspected & re-sealed (the compression is as per factory specifications).
Transmission shimming checked & new seals installed.
New clutch springs.
New drive shaft carrier bearing installed.
Final drive seals & gasket replaced.
Generator cleaned & inspected & lubricated.
The voltage regulator replaced & charging voltage checked.
The wiring was updated per original wiring diagram.
The starter cleaned & inspected & lubricated with the starter solenoid replaced.
Distributor rebuilt and new advance springs installed.
The carbs were cleaned and adjusted.
The steering head bearings cleaned & lubricated.
New fork seals.
This Moto Guzzi has the now very rare original Lafranconi “Frankfurter” exhaust system and headpipes.
A beautiful example of a low mileage, restored 1974 Moto Guzzi El Dorado.
