Restored 1978 Kawasaki Z1R Motorcycle.
This Kawasaki Z1R was restored by its owner.
The frame and swing arm and all mounting brackets including the rear brake calliper were powder coated.
The engine was rebuilt with new piston rings and the head was refurbished.
A new timing chain was installed.
All of the seals and gaskets were replaced.
The brakes were rebuilt with new pads and seals.
New fork seals were fitted.
Electronic ignition was installed.
A new seat cover and foam was fitted.
A new drive chain was fitted.
New stardust blue paint was professionally applied.
The carburettors were cleaned and rebuilt.
This bike was restored very close to the original specifications however the owner did make some small changes like stainless steal hex screws on the engine.
