This is a total restoration of a 1979 Yamaha XS1100.

Below is a list of items performed during the restoration.

Total strip down and inspection

Frame was blasted and painted

Engine was disassembled and rebuilt

Transmission was inspected and 2nd gear was updated

New clutch and springs

Engine was assembled and painted

All engine covers were buffed and installed with new polished stainless steel fasteners

Front forks were rebuilt and polished

Brand new tires front and rear

Front and rear brakes were disassembled and rebuilt

New battery

New handle bars, controls and grips

New mirrors

New turn signals front and rear

New paint and also emblems on tank and side covers have been restored

Tank has been acid etched and Kreemed for rust free protection

Petcocks rebuilt

Carbs were disassembled, rebuilt and synchronized

All new fuel lines

All lubes and filters replaced

New spark plugs and caps

As you can see this is a very complete restoration of an XS1100, finished to a high standard with some nice pictures that show the restoration process.
