Restored 1983 Moto Guzzi Le Mans motorcycle.
This motorcycle was purchased as a project in 2012.
It was white and black and unused for many years having been brought over from Australia by its previous owner.
Originally this motorcycle would have been red and black and so it was repainted.
The following work was completed;
The wheels were shot blasted and stove enamelled in silver.
New wheel bearings were replaced all round.
New Arrowmax tyres and new tubes were fitted.
New stainless downpipes were sourced.
Both master cylinders and the callipers were rebuilt.
New braided hoses clad in black plastic to match originals were used.
A new rear plastic seat unit – the original was cracked and had been repaired.
New UJ in shaft drive and bearing.
Repainted in black and red.
New adjustable Italian clip on handlebars.
New headlamp.
New rubbers on grips and brakes.
New rev counter cable.
New choke cables and choke lever.
All new paint and transfers.
New brake pads all round.
New mirrors.
New points, spark plugs and leads.
New air filters.

The engine was painted black and looks to have been that way for many years.
Still with its original Competizzione silencers this Moto Guzzi is a great restoration.
