Restored 1973 Yamaha FS1E Motorcycle.

This bike has undergone a professional nut and bolt restoration to include the following:-

Engine was professionally rebuilt with new seals and bearings.

The frame, swing arm and under bracket have been blasted and powder coated in black.

All of the tinware was stripped to bare metal and professionally re-painted in the Yamaha “Candy Orange” finish.

All of the silverware was professionally sprayed in matching Yamaha silver and coated with petrol resistant lacquer.

The original Yamaha zinc parts were either refurbished then re-zinced or replaced with original NOS parts.

The original Yamaha chrome parts were either refurbished then re-chromed or replaced with original NOS parts.

Seat, the original base was restored & power coated, fitted with a new foam, seat cover & stainless steel strip.

Speedo, the internals were restored, housing has been re-chromed and mileometer has been reset to zero.

Wheels, NOS Araya rims fitted professionally laced with stainless steel spokes and trued.

The original FS1-E Hubs were restored & polished and wheels fitted with original tyres front & rear.

Another great 1970’s “Sixteener Special” restored to a very high standard.
