Restored 1973 Suzuki GT250K Motorcycle.

This bike has undergone a complete no expense spared nut & bolt restoration using NOS parts wherever possible.

Engine:
Full engine strip-down and rebuild, all parts were vapour blasted.
The crankshaft was professionally rebuilt with new bearings and seals.
All of the gearbox/engine seals and gaskets were replaced.
Running standard size pistons & barrels.

Wheels:
The hubs were vapour blasted.
New wheel bearings and sprocket carrier bearings were fitted.
The wheels were professionally rebuilt with new stainless steel spokes and rims.

Frame:
The frame and swinging arm were bead blasted and powder coated.

Suspension:
The forks were fully reconditioned with the stanchions re-ground and hard chrome plated. New seals were fitted together with new oil.
The fork legs were cleaned and polished.
Brand new rear shock absorbers in original style with chrome shrouds were fitted.

Chrome work:
The original front and rear mudguards were sourced from the USA in pristine condition.
Other parts that were re-chromed include:
The exhaust silencers,
Kick start lever,
Chain guard,
Rear brake pedal,
Drum lever and torsion bar,
Chain tension adjusters.
Fuel cap.

Paint Work:
Full back-to-bare-metal re-spray in original bright candy red with pure white stripe.

Seat:
Professionally refurbished with a new base, foam, cover and alloy trim.

Other new parts used in restoration:
Drive Chain,
Battery,
Mirrors,
Indicators,
Rear stop/tail light unit,
Period pressed alloy number plate.
