Restored 1976 Harley-Davidson Aermacchi SS250 Motorcycle.
This rare SS250 is the product of a two year, 300+ hour restoration.
Every part on this bike was touched, disassembled, repaired and restored.
The frame was media blasted and powder-coated.
New Steering head bearings and a fork lock was fitted.
New rear OEM suspension and all new OEM rubber mounts and bushings were used.
The engine and transmission was disassembled, every part was removed, degreased, cleaned and inspected.
The crankshaft was rebuilt.
The cylinder was replated.
New piston, rings, wrist pin, bearing, and clips were used on the engine re-assembly.
The head was replaced with a new old stock part.
A NOS oil pump was installed.
The cases were cleaned and inspected.
All of the bolt holes were chased or heli-coiled as necessary.
All of the hardware was ultrasonically cleaned or replaced.
The clutch was rebuilt with NOS parts.
The front forks were disassembled, cleaned, inspected, cataloged and rebuilt with NOS parts.
The wheels were disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt with new spokes.
The rear hub was powder coated.
All new wheel bearings were installed.
NOS wheel rims were used in the restoration.
The fork bottoms were powder coated.
All of the instruments were disassembled, cleaned and inspected.
The instrument housings were media blasted and painted white inside, wrinkle black outside.
A NOS wiring harness was installed.
A NOS ignition box installed.
A NOS regulator installed.
A New Old Stock petrol tank completed this lovely restored Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.
