Restored 1967 BMW R60/2 Motorcycle.
This BMW was completely restored in the USA.
The engine was taken apart, the crankshaft was checked and the gearbox was rebuilt.
The engine was rebuilt with new pistons, the cylinders were honed and the heads were rebuilt with new guides and valves.
A new clutch was installed.
The drive shaft was checked and the rear drive was rebuilt.
The original carburettors were rebuilt.
The alloy wheel rims were re-laced with stainless spokes, nipples and trued.
Both of the brake drums were honed and new brake liners were installed.
A new wiring harness was added.
All of the cables were replaced with new ones.
The magneto and electrical components were checked and replaced as needed.
The VDO speedometer was restored.
The frame and both forks were powder coated.
Both fenders and the tank were painted in the correct black with hand brush painted double white pinstripes.
A new and correct exhaust system was installed with welded seams.
The original bolts and nuts were cleaned and re-plated.
