Restored 1960 Triumph Bonneville Motorcycle.
The engine was stripped.
The crankshaft was reconditioned with polished journals, new bearings and a new sludge trap plug.
The cylinders were bored 0.030″ over and new pistons and rings were fitted.
The cylinder Head was rebuilt with new valves and valve guides.
The transmission and crankcase was bead-blasted, new bearings, bushings and seals were fitted throughout.
A new primary chain, clutch plates and stator were used.
The magneto was reconditioned.
The carburettors were completely rebuilt.
The forks were rebuilt with new springs and seals.
The swing-arm bushings were replaced with new.
New parts used include:
The seat,
Exhaust and mufflers,
Rear drive chain,
Tyre clamps,
All of the cables,
Headlamp,
Battery,
Bulbs,
Rubber mounts.
All of the surfaces to be painted were blasted, etch primed followed by two part primer sealer, three colour base-coat and then clear-coated.
